Southwesterly flow around high pressure working off the coast will bring a true taste of summer over the course of the next 7 days. By mid week, most locations will be 10-15 degrees above average meaning mid to upper 80s across the Shenandoah Valley with 90 not out of the question. Humidity will also be on the rise increasing the chance for scattered afternoon pop up showers and thunderstorms.
