After the earlier rain, skies will begin clearing out overnight. Expect a cool start to Memorial Day weekend with highs in the low to mid 70s Friday and Saturday. Some may even see upper 30s for lows in the Valley Friday night. A ridge of high pressure will begin building in the western Atlantic Sunday into the beginning of next week. This will return the heat and humidity...wouldn't be surprised to see our first 90 degree days of the year during the Monday-Thursday frame. Other than a few typical pop up afternoon storms under the humid airmass, not seeing any big weather maker in the near future (Image: European ensemble mean 500 mb map showing the Atlantic ridge building early next week).
