Pleasant next two days; heat, humidity, and storms return this weekend

Looks like a beautiful next two days in the Valley.  High pressure building down from Canada will allow for lots of sun, below average temperatures, and lower humidity today and Friday.  Take advantage of it because heat, humidity, and scattered thunderstorm chances return this weekend, likely lingering into next week.  The ridge will be just a little too far west for this warm-up to be extreme, but 90s for most locations a solid bet.

Shenandoah Valley Forecast
Today/Friday: Lots of sunshine...lower humidity (especially today).  Will have to watch for a few pop up mountain showers Friday night---one may try to sneak into the Valley late.  Highs both days in the low 80s.  May even be a good night to open windows as lows dropping down into the upper 50s-low 60s tonight.

Saturday/Sunday: We'll end up on eastern side of ridge building over the center of the country.  Upper level disturbances working in under northwest flow aloft will enhance the chance for afternoon/evening showers and storms.  It'll be muggy and hot with highs in the upper 80s to low 90s.

Monday: Hot, humid.  Highs in low 90s.  Cold front pushes through in the evening bringing another chance for widespread showers and storms.

Tuesday/Wednesday: Models want to push the front through before stalling it out in North Carolina.  This would clear things out for Tuesday/Wednesday.  With that said, fronts have struggled to make it as far south as progged all summer.  For now, will go with partly cloudy and slightly cooler with highs in the mid 80s.
