Few Showers Tomorrow; Mountain Flakes Tomorrow Night

(Update: Saturday 4/4 8am)
Snowshoe, WV picked up a light dusting overnight adding to their 167" total for the season---here's a couple webcam shots from this morning.

It'll be chilly today thanks to gusty northwest winds (up to 30 mph at times) and highs stuck in the 50s. Clear skies and relaxing winds will allow temperatures to plummet towards freezing tonight before rebounding back into the 60s Sunday afternoon. Next week is looking warm with additional shower chances as a frontal system stalls over the mid Atlantic.

End update
-------------

(Posted Thursday 4/2 8:30pm)

It'll be warm (upper 60s to low 70s in the Shenandoah Valley) with on and off showers Friday ...the best chance will be overnight into early Saturday morning with the frontal passage.  Don't be surprised to hear a rumble of thunder or two.
NAM 5 am Saturday
Northwest winds will pick up behind the front ushering in chiller air for the weekend (50s on Saturday).  There may even be a brief period of upslope snow across the higher elevations of West Virginia/western Maryland as freezing levels drop down to 2,500 feet pre-dawn Saturday.  Wouldn't be surprised to see a quick dusting there.  Other than that, Easter weekend looks nice.  Enjoy.
