The cold front has pushed through and stalled out south of the area. Northerly winds will keep drier, slightly cooler air in place. Enjoy because this boundary will lift north as a warm front on Thursday returning warm, sticky conditions with late day thundershower potential.
This warm-up will be short-lived as a deep trough will build into the east late Friday through the weekend. Saturday and Sunday look dreary with occasional rain showers and highs only making it into the low to mid 70s. There's signs this trough wants to hangout awhile keeping temperatures at to below average through the middle part of next week. After such a hot past few weeks, I'm sure no one's complaining.
