(Updated 7:15 pm)
Not too much to talk about so super quick update tonight. After another pretty chilly start tomorrow, clockwise flow around high pressure now working off the southeast coast will allow winds to become more southerly ushering in much warmer air. Expect highs in the low to mid 50s across the entire state under lots of sunshine. A clipper system will approach the area Sunday enhancing the southwesterly flow and allowing even warmer air to push in. Many areas east of the Blue Ridge will break into the 60s...this not entirely out of the question for even western Virginia valley locations. Clouds will be on the increase late in the day along with our shot at a shower or two (mountain flakes may mix in) on Monday. Enjoy the warmth while you can because another arctic air mass looks to push back in by the middle part of next week.
