Friday 7/10 Weather Update

(Posted Friday 7/10 6am)
Good Friday morning!

A cold front will slowly drift through the Shenandoah Valley today. A shower or two may try to ride along it this afternoon...best chance will be across the far southern Valley. Otherwise, expect seasonable temperatures (mid 80s) under partly cloudy skies.

A larger area of showers and storms currently over southeast Missouri and southern Illinois will make its way into the area late tonight into the first half of the day Saturday. If you can hold off on western Virginia outdoor activities 'til late afternoon, should be golden. Showers likely linger into the evening along and east of I95. Sunday will be a much drier, nicer day for all. Have a good weekend!
