Warm today; cold front brings cooler, drier weather wednesday

(Posted Tuesday 5/19 1pm)

After today, say goodbye to the all the recent heat and humidity. A cold front will push through ushering in cooler, drier air for Wednesday. Expect lots of sunshine, low dew points, and highs in the low to mid 70s...awesome weather. A weak northern stream disturbance will produce a few widely scattered showers Thursday before we dry out again nicely for the start of Memorial Day weekend.

I'm still in the plains chasing storms with stormcruzzer.  We caught our first storm yesterday in western Texas near imperial and plan on chasing in the same general area today.  Find our chasing blog here: http://stormcruzzer.blogspot.com/2015/05/chase-day-2.html?m=1
