Happy first full day of spring! Partly cloudy skies with temperatures in the upper 50s to low 60s today...hard to beat that. We'll see some cooler air Monday but looks like the more significant cold blast will arrive late next week into the weekend as a deep trough digs down into the east...plenty of model agreement there.
For what it's worth, Harrisonburg has seen at least trace amounts of snow after the official start of spring 9 of the past 20 years (including 4 of the past 5). In 2010, the last measurable snowfall occurred May 2nd.
