Keeping an eye on a northern stream disturbance swinging underneath high pressure building into New England. It brought light snow to the greater Chicago area this morning and may produce a few sprinkles or even flurries across the Shenandoah Valley and northern Virginia late tonight.

The rest of the week looks really up and down. We'll enjoy a warm up Wednesday and especially Thursday thanks to southerly winds out ahead of our next cold front. Temperatures will reach the 60s (potentially 70 Thursday). The front moves through Thursday evening bringing with it showers and even the chance for a rumble of thunder or two followed by well-below average temperatures for the weekend. Low temperatures will return into the 20s with highs likely stuck in the 40s and 50s.
