Today has typical summer day written all over it...a great pool day. After some patchy morning fog, it'll turn out mostly sunny, hot, and humid with Shenandoah Valley highs climbing into the upper 80s (90s east of the Blue Ridge). The cold front over the midwest will bring more shower and thunderstorm chances into our area later tonight into the day Wednesday.
