Update: Monday 2/2 10pm
Temperatures will really crash tonight under clearing skies and diminishing winds as high pressure builds over the area. Lows will generally drop into the teens west of the Blue Ridge and 20s east...a few higher elevations may even approach single digits.
Flow will become more southwesterly tomorrow and especially during the day Wednesday as high pressure works off the coast. This will lead to a gradual warming trend with most locations breaking 50 by Wednesday.
Our next shot at precipitation will be from a cold front swinging through the area late Wednesday into Thursday. It looks to be quite moisture starved but at least scattered rain and snow shower activity will be possible.
